Black Friday 2021

Let me feel like a Lib-tard, or Donkey-crat, or whatever... but isn't Black Friday racist? I don't care, because it is just another normal Friday for me.

Oh my! Yesterday was such a wonderful day. We arrived down in Tucson around 9:45am, and I got dressed up for Doodad.

I know you can't read the shirt well, but it says "Papaw's the name, Dress-up is the game". It was one of two shirts the Daughter had made for my birthday. It included the outfit of the boa, hat and a tutu the Wife made. Here's a better shot...

Doodad was surprised to see Papaw dressed up for her, so she ran off to and changed into one of her princess dress-ups. Then she pretty much ignored me most of the day because she had her uncle Youngest there to play outside with. We got settled in and I started on making my dessert. The older boys showed up and meal prepping began. By 1'ish we were sitting down to one of the biggest meals I have ever sat down to. SIL had done a wonderful job smoking a turkey, and deep-frying one as well. And the ladies, well, all the extra dishes they put out there were terrific. A couple hours after the meal, and other shenanigans, we had dessert, which is always good. Doodad "inhaled" the Cherry Delight I made - so I was surprised. Afterwards, everyone pitched in with clean-up and putting/splitting the food away. The Boys decided to start a game, and it was near time for us to leave. We left Youngest there, where the two older ones brought him home later.

Though Doodad didn't want much to do with her Papaw, it was still a good day. We had left about 8pm, and around 11pm we got a call from the Daughter. Doodad had been sleeping when we were leaving, and no one could wake her up (Uncle Youngest had done a good job wearing her out). She woke crying because we were gone and she didn't get to tell us bye, so they called. Then it was lights for me.

Today nothing new is planned. Going to the VFW later on, do some reading, and probably stay for karaoke. The Wife had to work. She is adjusting to the new job, and says she really likes it. I guess my biggest decision right now is: smoked turkey, or deep-fried turkey for my sandwich for lunch?

Bringing Up Some Good Times

I have been going through many memories the past few days. Mostly of the past 15 years or so. It seems such a short time that I have known several of my friends. I mean, between trips to Rocky Point, and OTL in San Diego, get-togethers, poker parties, Church of Holy Beer and Softball, and just hanging out. I went back through my photos over the years, and tried to find some good ones worth sharing.

This was one of my favorite years: 2008 in San Diego for OTL. Here was the team that we took from Phoenix: myself, Pat (in the back), Smitty, Eric, and Jimmy. Beautiful Saturday morning on the island, just outside the Circle of Champions, where we had bracelets for free food & booze all day. I manned tha table, so they would have seats anytime they weren't playing, or walking around.

Here's one from the day before, with Don, Smitty and Joe, playing some Golden Tee video golf. Way back near about 2000 I remember getting Don, Smitty and another friend, Jeff, into playing this video game. We have played several times a week until earlier this year. Throw a little dollar on the side for a winner's pot, and let's swing them clubs!

Good memories!

Getting Riled up

The other reader here at B&B, Spockgirl (from Spockgirl Musings) sent me a picture. She had designed it based on some recent things going on here at the Ralphd00d Palace, and quite frankly, I think it is it pretty damn cute!

I think the beer in hand is the best part....

In her note to me, Spockgirl mentioned that she, like myself, is struggling on, trying to write something of the elusive 'substance'. I don't know why, but it got me a bit riled up. Which is good in the sense that it gives me something to write about today. So a good h/t to SG!

I know for quite some time, my drivel here is ... well, drivel. I suppose it is more of a journal or diary, than some money-driven, expert-advice, see my journalistic experience and professionalism - type blog. I don't write about one subject and all of its wonders and things. I don't reach a crowd of millions, because I am famous. I tweet, but few and far between, and I am sure no one that reads here follows my tweets and Facebook (well, FB I know some of you do).

I guess what I am leading up to is 'canned posts'. I know some other bloggers use them. Some more than others, and some are just good enough, you can't tell if they do use them or not, let alone when. I have not ever used one. Yes, I have put up posts that were from a file - like some old ones where I was "writing" more and put in some excerpt of a short story I was working on. I don't like canned posts. When I started this blog (wow, going on like 6 years at this address) it was to work on doing a daily post of some sort, and to exercise my writing skill(s). As you can see, my skills seemingly have not improved, but my griping has. I know some family members read here to find out how things are going with my family, and that's fine. I even refrain from bitching about yours just because I don't want to deal with your shit, too. In fact, on a side note, I have another blog I do that on, but it is in no way connected to this one, or to me in anyway you will find.

The rest of you that read here, well, it's down to one of two reasons I think. First, you are out searching for some weird kind of porn, or looking for some boob pics. I have been a bit lax about posting any of them of late (the boob pics). When the Reverend Mother reads here, some times I feel a bit guilty about posting them. Yeah I really do. There RM, you scored some points there. The rest of you, probably just read here to hear how bad I have it (bad compared to maybe your life). I wouldn't believe anyone reads my stuff tyo actually learn anything..... not that what I botch about is really learning anyways.

Well.... hell. I guess that's all my ramblin' on will get ya today.

Some Monday BOOBAGE!!!

What a great weekend that just ended! We got a new"used" washer on Saturday, even if I felt like I had to drive 400 miles to get it. Sunday was just a great Family day. Church in the morning (yes, I went, and as you can see ... I didn't burn up in a flash of flame), then movie and McDonald's for dinner. Was overall a great time!

Oldest son has a band concert tonight. He is not aware of it, but his sister is trying to make it back into town early enough to see him perform. She is coming up as she has an ortho appointment in the morning. Then she will return to school, until Friday, when she comes home for her Homecoming. Saturday, we plan on taking her out for her birthday dinner finally.

I get to do something that feels really out of the norm for me. I am calling my doc today to set an appointment for a regular physical. For some reason, everyone ganged up on me and sort of "ragged" on me to do it. I just don't want to because, we all know he is going to say, quit drinking, quit smoking, eat healthier, exercise more....(sigh). But I like the way I do those things! Maybe it just is starting to sink in a bit though, that if I keep on them, maybe I won't have that time for my kids. I dunno. Either way, I am calling today. Prolly be a couple weeks before I can get in though.

So, nothing else exciting going on. I have been lax these many weeks, so here's some boobs for ya....

Graduation pics

Here are a few pics of my past couple days. First is Ralphdood IV graduating 6th grade. He gave the valedictorian speech for his class....

... he received his diploma for 6th grade ....
... and was photogenic enough to allow us this picture. Look out Jr High girls! He's available!!

Next we have my daughter graduating 12th grade. Here she is performing with the Vocal Ensemble as pre-ceremony music. They also performed during the ceremony. A little blurry as we were so far back, but they had Jumbo Screens they televised on to help.
As I said, seating wasn't prime for us, so pics were from the jumbo screen. Here she is accepting her diploma
... and here is my little girl, all graduated!
We weren't allowed tons of time to hang around afterwards. There was yet another HS ceremony following hers, so we needed to leave. We were able to get a few other pics (with grandparents, boyfriend, etc) and I'll even throw this one up of our family.
Now, the rest of this week should be easy, I say easy, and I hope easy, but that prolly won't happen. Wife and daughter head to UofA for orientation on Thursday morning and it will be just us boys for 2 days. I am already planning on pizza party Thursday. We are stuck at home as the Wife will need the minivan to get to Tucson (she hates my car).  Enjoy your hump day!

For Rudy in Ottawa - Blah! It's Monday!!

Weekend is over, and I have just awoken this Monday morning. First thought through my head was 'Did I wake up early?' I mean, it was dark yet.... so I peeked out the door, and it is one of those overcast, rainy days. On a Monday. Blah. Make me feel gloomier than I already do....

And I sit here, and realize why I should feel so gloomy. Rudy form Ottawa left a comment for me at some point, that made me realize I have been neglecting many of you. I mean, after all, this is called Boobies & Beer... shouldn't you see some when ya Google that?

And ya know, I don't feel so blah after seeing some of these ... without further fanfare or bitching, a selection of pics for you today. (Sorry Reverend Mother).

Definitely a Beer & Boobies saver!! Wish I knew what brand of beer though....

Football playoffs are in swing.... too bad these aren't swinging too...

Oh, to catch the BIG ONES!

Some schooling for ya that may need it.... I leave ya with a thought - I wish those were my hands....

That's it. Rudy, hope you liked.

Last Day of Freedom

It's Sunday, also known as the last day of Christmas Break from School (to the children anyways). Yes, they start back tomorrow, and I don't know if I can stand it! Right now, it's a wonderful morning, but I know soon they will awaken, and I am sure the whining will start as chores need to be completed today. Like laundry, so they have clothes for tomorrow, etc. Yes, just what I want to hear today.

The New Year has started. So far it seems okay. I dare not say more so I don't jinx myself.

Dentist appointment tomorrow for me. It is just a regular cleaning, preparing for the one in 2 weeks where I get molded or whatever, for the 3 crowns I am getting. I did say the start of the year was good? Do I need to reconsider that?

Guess that is all I got for now. Here's a pic my StepDad sent me. Thought I should share.

UPdate with pics

So, I went to the dentist this morning. Seems the one tooth he had rebuilt 3/4 of the way is in ned of a root canal. Either that or pull it. Due to it's position (all the way in the back) he would need to refer me out to a specialist to have it done. Or I could have it removed. Then that side of my mouth would look like a jack o'lantern. I need to decide what to do and get it done as soon as I can. He was nice enough to give me a 'script for the pain at least.

Here are some pics from Halloween.

This is my youngest. He looks so cute in his fireman/truck outfit!

This is him l at the door of the real firetruck that was at the place they went.

All three boys decked out.

Wait. How much does it cost me?

I think every teenager, or son-to-be ones, start hating this question early. I know at my house, the daughter *still* hasn't learned to provide that info up front when asking me about something. It is almost the first phrase out of my mouth every time, answered with "I don't know" from her.

Well, not every time. But it sure feels that way. The Wife and I have been pretty well blessed, even with the economy today, and the job market (interpreted as my lack of a job) we have been able to "get by" and still do extra things family-wise. OF course, sometimes that means just going out to eat considering the size of the family.

So what brought up this topic today? Nothing really. Just me thinking. Saturday the daughter has her SAT testing scheduled. No one has mentioned the need for a possible fee. I am sure there is going to be one. Isn't there for everything when it comes to college prepping? And no one (meaning the daughter) has provided me (read as The Driver) any idea what time and exact place she needs to be. Evenings at my place are going to be repetitious for the next few evenings I am sure.

On the growing up side, the daughter is supposed to "instruct/teach" the 11 year old son how to operate the mower and weed-eater Friday evening. She has had the 'employment opportunity' of landscaping maintenance for the past few years, and now they pass on to younger shoulders, to allow her to prepare for Life's 'real work' ahead. This should be interesting. Wondering if I can find a place to take pics and listen in without them noticing too much.

Enough of my rambling. On to other important matters....

I wanna throw a quick shout out to MLAH over at this place. Someone had the balls to stand up for the Cowboys (though we will never figure out why...). Go give them a quick read. I did, and had a few laughs, too.

I received some email this morning from a family relative. Sorry Reverend Mother, but the desire to share is here. I was informed that today is SYBSTD. For those of you not able to figure out them acronyms, it's Show Yer Buddies Some Titties Day. So, (might as well end reading here RM, and go to the next site) here ya go to all my online buddies!

Football Season and Homecomings

Yes, it is that time of year, when the pigskin is cherished and revered more than life itself it seems. NFL started this weekend, and to be honest, I have been scared to find out how my favorite team has started their season. I will probably look and cringe, then cry, after posting this - we'll see.

Football is also biginthe schools -as I am sure you parents are aware. My daughter is in the marching band and they play at all home games. Their Homecoming game is like in 2 weeks - way early than it should be it seems, but who am I to complain about a calendar the chool puts together. Lord knows they wouldn't listen to my voice anyways.
Either way, I gother Senior pics and said I would post a couple. Here ya go.

Yup. Takes after her Mother. See y'all next time, I am off to get some rest.

Something is Different Around Here

Not much to write about today. My life has been somewhat boring of late - which is nice. No drama, no soap operas. Just clean boring regular day to day stuff. It's gotten so boring, I don't care about my punctuation anymore. Well, at least I may not always correct it....

So let's play a word game today. I don't know the name of the game, but I give a word, and you see how many words you can make from it.

Today's word is : BARED

One clue - bread don't count. What the hell does that other word have to do with anything? Well, it went bu-bye this morning. I couldn't hear the "Taps" playing over the sound of the hair trimmers, but that is okay. It got a fitting 'lay to rest' in the bathroom trash.

In case you wonder why this was such a deal, we have to go back several months. The families had gotten together near the end of January to celebrate the Sis's and her son's birthdays. Stuman and my BIL had both decided to grow beards, and had both started about Jan. 1st. I had only a goatee, so I jokingly asked if it was a contest as to who could grow the most the fastest. Laughingly, the answer came back yes.

Being of the somewhat competitive natured person I am, and it would be even lazier to not shave, I started to let mine achieve it's desired potential. Here is a picture of me July 4th after 5 months of growth.

Well, I did my Indiana trip, and had many comments about looking like 'Grizzly Adams' or how I reminded some of certain family members when they were younger. But the combo of facial hair, being fat, and sweating a lot in the Arizona heat (and dry air) created the effect of Monster-Sized dandruff and raw skin from scratching. My cheeks look reddened by rouge, but it is from irritation - and I haven't broke the razor in to 'baby-smooth' the cheeks.

My kids are so attentive. They didn't even notice this morning. But the were concerned about how leveled up I got my WoW character. Go figure.

Okay, I wasted enough of our time together today. Think about this while you are enjoying today....

Something for Nothing

It's Tuesday, and originally I was pretty much not going to do anything except wait the 2 days until I leave. The Wife fixed that. MORE pictures to scan. Then I renovated the whole system of keeping our photos on the computer. Then incorprated the scanned ones into the digital camera ones, and now, am almost done - 6 hours later.

But, man, it looks really bad the way I set it up!

Nothing else for ya, so here are some gun posters I found while cleaning GIGS of DUPE PHOTOS from the HD in my picture project.

Get The Cheese Ready ...

Whine Alert: Yes, I am *still* scanning pics. I am down to half the last the package to complete, then only our family ones. Someday, too, it will be completed.
Okay, the whine is out of the way. What's new and for the agenda today? Well, let's see - it's Friday!!! Not that it makes a huge amount of difference in my world. Heck, Wednesday I had to ask someone two or three times to remind what day of the week it was.

Today has started off kind of rough though. I awoke about 4am unable to get to sleep again (must be the afternoon naps). Being the productive asset to society, I figured I could do something. I booted up the computer and started scanning more. While scanning I am cruising around the net, reading blogs, checking mails, looking at junk stuff. Yee haw.

The kids are all out of school now. The daughter now has her "I am a senior" status (in her head). She is performing with the band at the ceremony today for the HS. Then has a friend's party afterwards. Her boyfriend's party is tomorrow.

I have finally gotten my dates finalized (almost) for my trip to Indiana. Looks like I am going the 10th thru about the 19th. part of this morning has been going through the travel sites for discounts so the actual dates my drop a day or two. Fly into Indy, then north thru Frankfort and on to Elkhart, north to Paw Paw, MI area, then back to Indy. Yeah, be good to see some family and friends again. I may even borrow a laptop from one of the kids so I can keep updated.

Rusty, the 'Spawn of Satan' has a booster update this morning. He has been getting some weight gain going on, and his energy levels have gone sky high. I wish I could go a day or two without scratches either on the hands/wrists or feet/ankles areas. Here are a couple recent pics of him.

As you see here, he is attacking the youngest son David with a ton of energy. And another example below....

Not sure if that is a "Screech!" or a look of utter, malignant evil. Reminds me of Gene Simmons a bit with the tongue.

Okay, I think I am out of here for the day. Got some books from the bookstore the other day. Plus I got three books by an AZ author, and he signed each 1st edition copy for me. Nice! Pub time will be as soon as they open today.

Somethings take too much effort

Yesterday we received a piece of mail from the dentist office where the Wife and kids go. Normally, you would expect such as a bill after services rendered (if not paid up front). But this one was in a different type of envelope. It was addressed to the Wife (as she is the one that takes them - I'm too scared to go), so I waited until that evening to find out what it contained.

Turns out the middle son (6yrs) had had his name pulled in a drawing and won the stuffed attachment on his neck (it truly is not a tumor). The office had thought it was cute and sent us a copy of the pic (which was very nice of them). Notice, he was at the dentist, and he has a 3-tooth gap in that mouth... hehehe. No, I didn't feed him knuckle sandwiches, though at times I want to.

And since I have nothing better to waste our time with, here is another photo from the recent past.

This one is of Myself and my StepDad when we played a golf tournament a few years ago. In case you couldn't tell, I am the younger one.

So, it is Thursday and nothing special is happening today. I should get over to the local Walgreens to pic up some pics. I dropped off two cameras to be developed that I had found at the house. I still have two others to take in, but the Wife has them in her vehicle. Maybe I'll just wait until she is home to run up there.

I am still working on scanning pics. It is such a boring job.

Last night I completed watching the "Boston Legal" TV show on DVD. It had a nice, funny ending that clinched 5 seasons of what I thought was a good show. Now I am at a loss of what TV show to watch next.

By this time next week all the kids will be out of school. I don't know if I am looking forward to that. I may continue to send them to Grandma's house during the day as I don't have the patience to put with them all, at once, for long periods of time. I know, I am not the greatest father, but at least I know my limitations prior to possibly killing them.

That's about all I got today. Come back tomorrow for the fun update of how I spent today...if I do anything fun that is.

Happy Mother's Day

A happy shout out to the Wife, Reverend Mother, Sis, all those other relatives and friends, that deserve the honor for today. I am actually up early for a Sunday. I had to be sure the Wife received her gifts prior to leaving for church. "The Kids" had gotten her a lovely 'Aurora" necklace, and a matching silver bracelet with stones. Needless to say, she was very happy. I spoke to the RM yesterday, and was unable to get out to pick up her gift, but will be doing so probably tomorrow. She is wanting a USB plug-in memory card reader (for her camera card). I will head to Fry's Electronics and see what I can find.

The Daughter had her Prom last night, and man, was she pretty when she left her early in the evening. I know the Wife got a couple quick pics, so I hope to have those able to posted in just a couple days. In the meantime, I told you we were going through old photos. Here's one to scare you!

It was early in the 2000's, and as you can tell I am at the pub (when by law we could smoke in there) and holding the two most precious drinks to me - Budweiser and Jack Daniels. It must have been a Sunday since I am wearing a softball jersey.

Okay, I think I am going to go burn one, then head to bed for a couple hours of catnap. Yeah, kitten is being cool lately.

Non-Digital Pictures Make Me Unhappy

Several years ago, my brother, Stuman, had given the Wife and I a very nice Christmas present of a flatbed scanner. If I am not mistaken, it was at least 4, if not 5 years ago. It could have been longer. At the time, I had no desire to be hooking it up and searching through the boxes for all the pictures we had as of that point. If I remember correctly, we had just gotten a digital camera about that same time, so it was no big issue for me.

I think you might already see where this is headed. Let's see if I can give the facts without giving anything away to a possible reader(s).

The Wife came up with a project. Obviously, if involves scanning many items. No, not our pictures. I would rather do that than this project. Somehow, I got drafted as she thinks I have all this spare time on my hands. Has she no idea the amount of time I need to spend between napping, checking emails, blogging, and playing Texas Hold 'em online that I really don't have free time? And what if I decide to go to the bar for a few? Anyways, I am getting a bit off subject.

So a few days ago I FINALLY hooked up this scanner. Spent about 2 hours going through a handful of photo/image software programs I have gotten over the years (with cameras, computers, other photo stuff) and found the one that works best to the needs of the time. I scanned some pics I found nearby and things are working good. This morning I did the first batch of the project. Not too shabby of I may so. Only spent about an hour and half scanning about 30-40 items (this counts a few goof ups on operator error as well). And I was able to accomplish it whilst doing miscellaneous other things online. I am getting good! No time lost yet!

Okay, okay. I had mentioned about the Prom coming up for the Daughter (who is a Junior in HS). One of the pics I came across was from the Senior Prom for my HS that the Wife and I attended (the good ol' days prior to marriage). What do I remember of the actual Prom? Well, let's see: theme was "Hold On To The Night" (hence the song by Richard Marx) and they had dancing, but we only did one slow song. We sat with my best friend Scott and his date. Scott was the only person at my school that my Wife knew at the time.

Anyways, before I get too far into stuff back then, here's the photo, circa 1990 of that night. It might even embiggen if ya click it. I dunno.

And the Wife is just as beautiful today as she was then - though she disagrees. Myself, well, her good cooking has made me a bit more filled out. And the lack of using a razor lately makes for a bit more hair. That, and I am old enough to grow some.

Enough for now. I am thinking of going and searching the storage room for my old albums to see what I can scan on my own time. I remember some funny pictures from this one time..... Might even get a story out of it.

Time Marches On

Geez, it is Tuesday already, and I guess I am just not prepared for it. Feels like another Monday to be honest.

The Daughter has a band concert tonight. It should be the last one of the year. I know she has yet another choir concert this year as well. The oldest son said he has a band concert yet this year as well. Squeezing everything into that last month prior to school being let out I guess.

So that is all my excitement for the time being. I am off to watch a couple of made for TV movies of "Spenser:for hire" and a couple episodes of "Nightmare & Dreamscapes".

Oh, I forgot. Here's an updated pic of the kids taken at Easter this year.

Monday, March 9

Oh, the cravings kill ya!

What do ya know, it is Monday again. Yee haw. In some ways, I am glad this week has gotten underway though. For reasons like, I need to get my car to the garage. Seems the serpentine belt has loosened somehow ( I think idler pulley broke) and there is a racket coming from the engine. Plus a few other problems. Unfortunately, I was unable to get it there this morning since my daughter was running late to school. So today I get to sit at home carless, unable to get anywhere short of taxis or bus.

Saturday night I went over to a friend's house for poker. I almost made money and ended up in 4th place. Had a great time as usual over there. The Wife went to the final performance for my daughter's play.

I spent part of the weekend at the mother in law's trying to get her HD converter box hooked up. "Take me 15 minutes" I told her. What she didn't tell me was she had bought a new DVD/VCR player and it didn't have the coaxial cable inlet/outlets, and her TV only had coaxial. SO had to wait til Sunday afternoon to get a RF connector for her. Then 15 minutes later it was done. She is really happy to have gotten it put in as Dad didn't want to begin messing with the connections.

What else is exciting and new? Oh, I am trying to quit smoking (again). The Wife had been at the store last week and in the clearance bin had found a package of Nicorette Gum, marked down from 22.95 to 2.49 so she bought it. Fifty pieces of gum in package. Instructions say to chew 9 per day for the first 6 weeks, then decrease the amount for a total of 12 weeks. So per instructions I have enough for a little of 5 days. Ha! I'll just chew one when I feel the urge to smoke, which is less than 9 times a day, unless I am out drinking. So I started Saturday. That night, I had the weirdest dream I can ever remember having. I was able to wake and grab pen and paper for the majority of the details, and am working on getting it into story form. I may share it once I am done.

I figured it was a combination of the whiskey I was drinking and maybe the gum. I wasn't sure.

Then Sunday night, again, I had two more weird-ass dreams. These I didn't pen down, but I mean, just as crazy as the one the previous night. But Sunday I had no whiskey, and no gum.

So now I wonder where are these damn dreams coming from? Nothing matches any movie I had watched over the weekend.... freakin' weird!!

Okay, that is all I got for a Monday morning before 8am. I am off to search for cheap tickets again.

Here's a pick off the youngest and his bday cake.

Wimpy update for the masses

I got nothing for you today. The back is doing better. I figure another day or two and I should be back to normal. Mainly hurts when I sneeze, or cough, or try to take a dump. Yeah, I know - TMI. Oh well. Gotta have quantity not quality here, huh?

It's been warming up here in the valley with temps in the low 70's. I feel for all you in the midwest. Trust me, I used to live there too, I know how bad it is this year.

It is hump day, and since I have nothing else for you, here's a couple humps for the guys (and the girls that like 'em too).

Do I Have Time to Cover It All???

Goodness! Here it is the end of another year. Another year end greeted with surprise that I actually made it through. That means it has been a great year. So without further delay, let's get the season's BS stuff outta the way early....

Happy New Year!

This morning I awoke, rather early for me, and couldn't get back to sleep. So I moseyed (more like cautiously around toys) into the Family Room and sat back to watch some episodes of "Boston Legal" on DVD. Prior to turning that on, I caught some of the early news headlines for the Valley. The big one that caught my attention was the DUI Task Force that has been going on here since 11/27. Why it started that date and runs through 1/1 I have no idea, but it does. There have been over 24,000 traffic stops, 1200+ DUI arrests, with the average alcohol content being 0.1458. Now, for AZ, that is considered just barely under an Extreme DUI (0.15). Damn! That's a lot of drinkers.. and I thought I was bad!

Speaking of drinking, tonight is obviously a night that there will be many people will be imbibing - I know I will be. My good sense though is the Wife will be along to drive me home. She doesn't partake of any of my nasty habits. Such a good woman. We'll be spending the evening at the Sis's place, then home for some sleep and back again tomorrow for lunch. The Reverend Mother is making ribs, and slaw, and prolly some black-eyed peas. Yeah, good food.

What else do we have for you today? Some pictures! I finally got the camera from the Wife so I could download the pics to the computer. Found some from a couple months back, plus what was taken over the holidays. And now, for your enjoyment.... Here is the brood Christmas morning, after opening all presents, and actually somewhat awake.

Damn, my kids are just too cute. Good thing they take after their mother. Here is one I found on the camera that was taken prior to Halloween. I thought it was cute so threw it up on here too. Lessee, going Left to Right, 2 yrs, 6 yrs, and 10 yrs.
Yeah, that's the studly d00ds in my house. Last but not least, I offer this one up. I know if the Wife finds out she will prolly be ticked that I put a pic of her on here, but she doesn't read. So for those of you that know her, don't say nothing. With beauty like hers, it needs to be flaunted every now and then. Here is the daughter and the Wife pre-Halloween sometime.

If you can't tell, the Wife is on the right. Many people that know us will inadvertently call one by the other's name on occasion. They look mighty alike.
Okay, I need to get this closed off for the year. Since I was up so early, I am getting tired and thinking of taking a nap so I can last through the night. Hope everyone out there has a good evening, be safe, and enjoy yourselves. More to come next year!!
