Getting In That Last Shot

This past year is considered by many to be a bad year. For most, I am sure that 2020 bringing us the Covid-19 quarantines, and shut-downs of businesses, was the worst of it. I am sure there are others that had it worse, those that lost loved ones from illness - Covid related or not - because it seems that anytime anyone was sick, or died, it was Covid related. The Wife was tested positive for it back in April, and only spent about a week and a half at home feeling flu-like symptoms. Yes, I'm thankful. Though, in my head I still believe she just had a version of the flu, versus it truly being Covid. But the "required" preventions of self-isolation for 14 days were taken.

So talking about how it has been such a crappy year, 2020 decided to get one on me before closing out. Due to the all the "extra" eating between holiday meals, and some of the goodies I got for Christmas, yesterday I had a "sour stomach". you know the one. When you burp, they are stinky burps, giving you a heads up that you are going to have a sick tummy, and probably a case of the backyard trots. Uh-huh. I did. Bad enough that I skipped dinner out with the Daughter and family. This morning as the alarm went off and I got up for the day, I did a little self-check. Yeah, tummy feels better. Good! Went to the bathroom to empty the bladder accumulation of the night, passed some air.....and a little more. Yeah, I crapped my pants. Though I feel better, there is evidently some remaining issues to resolve...so maybe some Immodium AD this morning. I would say Pepto, but that always makes me throw up.

Now, got a clean change on, and waiting at the computer for some work. I did receive an email from the employer around midday yesterday. Basically, it said the project I was on is now finished (really?) and they have several new projects starting this week and next. Be sure to let Recruiting now your availability status. So I sent off an email to them, letting them know I am ready and waiting. Then sat there pretty much all day, waiting for nothing. This morning I still sit here and wait. If nothing comes in by noon, I'm calling the Son early and we will go look at cars.

Which is what I am spending my morning doing. I found a location of a used car sales place, and am going through the car inventory to see if we should even stop at the location nearest us. At least see what they have. Hopefully it will narrow the hunt down. If I can get out early enough, we should be able to get it all taken care of today as well. Getting to the bank for the cashiers check will be the timely thing, as they have been closing early since last spring.

The BIL and Sis are taking a look at the old house this morning, since I gave them a chance to do the last counter for the sale. I don't think they can match what the first offer was, and in ways I hope they don't. Then again, they may feel because I am family they "have to" and then will have eat any profit they could make. I don't care. I'm going with who gives me the most. We aren't hiding any of the facts about as-is and fixer-upper needs that the house shows. What's that saying... caveat emptor, I think?

Well, nothing to ramble on about this morning so I shall get back to looking at cars.

Gone For A Few

Posting here will be spottier than the usual. I mentioned yesterday about my buddy Don, and some new info came to me yesterday. Seems he is in stage three with his cancer. It has spread from the spot on his neck (now removed) somehow to areas of his brain, his lungs, and that there are spots on his liver as well. He was moved into ICU and is on oxygen (due to the pneumonia) and morphine (to help with the pain - severe headaches related to the brain tumors is my guess). He has lost quite a bit of weight. His girlfriend and his daughter are meeting with doctors today to discuss options for treatment and whatnot. As of last night, his girlfriend said he will be needing to be transferred to a hospice within the next couple days, as the doc says nothing can be done while he has pneumonia. They gave him a prognosis of three months.

A couple years back one of our (Don and I) friends had passed in a similar incident. Had a lump on his side, went to have it removed. Turned out it was cancerous, and somehow had spread. Smitty went through a few weeks of chemotherapy, before getting pneumonia. From that point, he went into hospice, then home, then hospital with pneumonia again, back to hospice, before finally giving up the fight. Don goes in to have a lump from the side of his neck removed, and here the cycle starts again.

Maybe I should stop having friends. No. I know that won't happen. This whole thing just makes me think stupid things, because I am stressed out over the whole situation. Things like, how did they miss these other cancer areas, if he had stuff done on his neck within just the past few months? Did he know, and not want to tell anyone? Did he opt to not do chemo, and possibly end up in the same situation as Smitty (even though, it appears he still has)? Yeah, like I said, stupid thoughts. Either way it doesn't matter. He has it. It is there. What do we do next.

See ya in a few days.....

Health

If some person were to stop me one the street (hopefully without the television camera) and ask my if I felt I was healthy, I would say yes. They would probably follow that question up with, "Are you sure?" and my answer would still be yes.

If you have seen a pic of me, you might even question this yourself. I am overweight. Not just a "few pounds", I am talking like 50 pounds or more. I smoke. I drink alcohol - more than I should, more often than I should. I don't exercise (regular routine, or go to the gym anymore). I eat fatty foods, or foods that supposedly are not healthy.Sometimes I eat a lot of that kind of food.

Sure, over the past 2-3 years I have lost some pounds. I am not that fat guy over 350 pounds that had to use a cane to walk anywhere. Sure I try to eat more salad and drink less beer. My job keeps me active for at least half the work day, and I mean active like on the feet constantly moving, lifting "weights". I sweat a ton at work.

So ... healthy? I would say yes.

My buddy Don isn't, at least at the moment. Since his surgery to remove some cancer on the side of his neck, he is back in the hospital again. This time with pneumonia, that in my experience, he probably got while having the surgery in the first place. Either way, there seems to be some conflicting opinions of what people have been told is going on with his health. One report is that the cancer spread to his liver. Another that it is just the pneumonia. Either way, he was not doing good earlier this week, and got to do an ambulance ride Tuesday morning. He will be in at least 3-4 days for now. I should go up and see him, but with my work schedule versus visiting hours .... that and I hate hospitals.

Healthy. Yeah, and I just had some pizza rolls. Talk about breakfast of champions.

Sitting With the Sick Boy

My oldest son is home sick from school with a temperature of 101.4. The timing of his being sick is not the greatest though. Tomorrow he is to report nice and early to All State Band, for a full day of practice, followed by the concert that evening. If he is feeling the slightest amount better, he is going, I don't care what they say. In the meantime, the Wife has left extra jobs for me today (aside from medicating the boy). Need to get some stuff notarized, so a trip to the bank will be happening in a couple hours when they open. Then we need to run over to the school as the son left his instrument there. Talk about taking away from my reading time!

So, got the concert tomorrow night, and the trip to the west side of town in the AM to drop him off. That pretty much concludes my weekend. Sunday morning I will probably end up doing some bloody marys with the boys, followed by some Church of Holy Beer and Softball. I have been good all week and deserve to have a couple I think.

I am in the process of quitting smoking again. It has been 5 days so far, and I feel I am over the worst of the cravings. I won't know for sure until I am in the bar environment, or near others that smoke, and I can smell it. I had done well at the the turn of the year last year, going for about 6 months before I started up again. Need to stay stronger willed.

That's it for now. Be back maybe over the weekend, but prolly not.

It's All Fine Until....

I caught something. No, I wasn't on playing a one-way version of catch, but it has turned out that way, with me on the receiving side. Up until mid-afternoon yesterday, I was feeling fine. In fact, I had just got a call from my brother, Stuman, and got invited to go to the Nascar race here at PIR this coming weekend. Inside track, turn two....oh yeah! But shortly after that, I started feeling weird. I ended up with a temp of 101, and one of them pressure headaches. But no other symptoms. No blah, queasiness, diarrhea, aching of joints. I took some ibuprofen to help with the temp and headache. I did not make it to the son's concert due to feeling this way. I also went to bed early, though ended up awake later on for another couple hours.

This morning, seems a bit more is catching up to me. Headache is gone, but feeling sort of blah, a bit achy, and be glad you are not here for the gas emissions that are happening on a VERY grand scale - not just in quantity, but super-odorific as well. I am sure a pre-cursor for some sitting time in the reading room today.

Yeah, it was all fine, until this hit. The Wife is leaving town tonight too, so I have the boys to take care of. Hope I am feeling better this afternoon/evening.

Over For Another Year

This year's "big match-up" for the SuperBowl was no big deal to me. I do not care for either team. I will admit though, it was a good opportunity to get with some friends and have a good time. This year, I went over to the BIL of a friend. This BIL always has a great party, with lots of family, friends and food. I had attended one several years ago, and remember the fun I had then. RM & PT invited me over to watch the game with them, but I didn't feel like going over there. Okay, I'll be honest. I hoped to go somewhere where I could have a couple beers. I called up my buddy, and he told me to come on over, so I did. By the end of the first quarter, I had a couple beers in me, and a plate full of food. By halftime, I was ready for a nap.

The party, as is the norm, was thrown out in the garage and drive. Yes, weather in AZ this year was so nice, we had the garage door up, and tables spread out. Only one large screen TV, so if you were out of the garage, you couldn't hear it, but you could at least see the action going on. Which was fine for me. I spent more time talking to friends and others I hadn't seen in awhile. Kids were running around everywhere, though I hadn't brought mine. They even did some fireworks after the game. I helped clean up, then headed home, feeling VERY tired.

That brings us into Monday morning. I am not making it to the gym this morning as the youngest son is coughing, and sounding congested int he chest. He is spending the day at home rather than in school. We also felt he shouldn't be over at Grandma's as with Grandpa, he is more easily susceptible to getting sick. So here's to hoping I don't get it, and that no one else in our family does...especially considering the two younger sons share a room.

The younger son is sitting at the other computer watching YouTube videos of Lego people, and T-rexes. He's so easily amused!

Down With The Sickness

My youngest woke this morning, and started coughing. That bad, croupy-sounding kind of coughing. Obviously, he is not going to school today, and the Wife took him over to Grandma's (my MIL) as usual. I am headed over there in a few to sit with Dad so Mom can get out for some shopping. Depending on how the son feels, I may offer to bring him back home, and spend the day here with me. I just hope this is not the start of the  cough going round & round our household, where just as one is done with it, another starts. I know the Wife can't even think about going to work if she is even coughing a little bit. She is in the Healthcare field (PT) so can't be near patients when she is sick. We had been fortunate that seemingly most of this year, we weren't passing stuff around constantly.

It's actually a bit chilly today here int he valley of the sun. Taking the trash down tot he street, I actually had to put a T-shirt on, and debated sandals or something to keep my feet from the cold concrete. It actually is sort of cloudy...maybe some rain today?

Yeah, talking about the weather is about as much excitement as I can handle today.

Ummmm .....

Figures. I awoke this morning to a sore throat. Most of the family has seemingly gone through some stage of sickness over the past 2 weeks, and I thought I had escaped it all. Wrong.

Super Bowl Sunday. Whoopee. Commercials.

Not sure what I am doing today, but it probably entails bed... and lots of it.

Actually Getting Dressed Today

I am sure that post title gave many of you sickening mental pictures, especially if you have seen pics of me. But it is completely true. Arizona is a pretty warm state most of the year (warm being a nice term considering 6 months of the year it is sweltering). So, usually at home I run around in shorts, no shoes, no shirt. But today, a rain front is moving in for the next three days (supposedly) and temps have dropped down to pretty cool levels (maybe 30's at night) and I am a bit chilled. I put a shirt on, and am now debating putting on a pair of socks, too.

I remember reading, or hearing, somewhere that there are like 700 million (exaggerated figure but you'll understand) types/versions of the common cold. I feel as if I have 250 million of them. Seems I start to think I am finally shaking it, and a new symptom appears, or another one gets worse, or both. I am not feeling so energy-less, but just more congested sinuses, and a bit of chest. Bouts of sneezing come along from time to time. But it is irritating more than uncomfortable. I am doing whatever I can to "ease" the symptoms (so I can breath through my nose). It still sucks.

Hopefully the auto shop will call later today and say that the daughter's car is ready to be picked up. As of Monday they had said today or tomorrow. My luck it will be tomorrow.

Finally downloaded pics from the camera from Christmas and just before. Still need to load the software and do the new camcorder as well.

That's all I got today. Not much happening otherwise, until I can get rid of this damn cold.

Blow It Out Your Nose!

I am sick of this! I do not see anyway I could have this "cold" for two weeks now. I think there is something else... maybe some sort of allergy(s) going on worse than my usual bout. My nose has been running/clogged, and the sneezing! I hate sneezing. I go through several in a row, uncontrollable, then a brief 30 second respite that leaves you "feeling" a sneeze coming on, and then WHAM Three or four more. My OTC allergy meds (Benedryl equivalent) is not working. OTC med (Claritin type) not working. Nasal spray, cold meds - neither of them work. I don't know what to do to get relief short of a trip to the doc to be examined, and told there really probably nothing they can do. I don't know that, I just feel that way. Knowing me, I'll stick it out a couple more weeks before I finally just get pissed enough to go to the doc again.

I don't want it to come to that though. I don't want to see how my weight is doing. I feel like I have been slacking quite a bit on the watching what I eat. I know I need to do better at the amount. I know I need to get more exercise. Yes, I have been out walking, doing the final bits of Christmas shopping; but not every day, or in any way that could be called consistent. Sigh. And the holidays are coming up, and my favorite time of the year, because frankly, I love all the food and candy... in amounts that are not good for me.

The daughter is due home Monday for an overnight and an ortho appt Tuesday morning. Then back to Tucson until Saturday, which starts their break for the holidays. Tuesday is that damn Jury shit I got to do. I hope when I call Monday evening, my group will be excluded. Crossing fingers, saying prayers to any deity... burnt offerings on the corners - whatever it takes. True, my name gets tossed back in the "random name selection" progress, but that could reprieve me for several years.

Saturday. I know the kids and Wife will be doing stuff around the house to try to get it more ready for the holiday. I haven't decided, but I will prolly end up on WoW making that last level to 85 (be first in guild to do so). I had some salsa and chips yesterday, but I think the salsa was too old - I have the unwanted and undesirable digestive condition that makes my most important exercise of running to the bathroom before shitting my pants the only thing I will do much of today. Sigh. Not turning out to be a wonderful month so far...

Get on out of here. I know I am running for the door right after I hit enter.

Sweet Dreams are Made of These

I was awakened early this morning. Not by the alarm clock. Not by the kids. Not even by the police because I passed out in a parking lot (that's a story for another time). No, this morning, an hour before my usual "wake up" time, I woke myself. With what I thought was screaming. Needless to say, I had a very disturbing dream. I couldn't go back to sleep, unlike most previous times this has happened (the startled awake from a dream - not the actual dream, which does differ from what I remember of previous ones). I am not going into details of what the dream was... so get over that already. Good news is, once the Wife was up (at the regular time mind you) I asked and discovered if I had yelled, she never noticed.

So I know she is sleeping better at nights now; since I started on that CPAP machine, I think we both have been getting better sleep, and more of it. Though the past few nights I have been waking up more during the night. I think it is because this damn cold I have, and the clogged nasal passages are preventing the machine from helping as well as it should. I was hoping to be over the final stages of it by this morning, but here I sit typing, wiping or blowing my nose seemingly every paragraph. We aren't counting sneezes - though I just jinxed myself by mentioning them.

The Wife and I are going to sit down tomorrow and attempt to make a list for those we would like to get gifts for, that we have not already. Then I suppose I will spend part of next week doing some more shopping. I know the week after that, I have that damn Jury Duty. Not happy about that. It should be if you register to vote you DON'T have to perform this service. That would encourage more people to register, let alone actually vote, in my opinion. I just hope I don't get picked so I can go home. Be my luck I'll actually have to be on a jury panel this time. I am soooo not looking forward to it. I need to get out and purchase some pants just for it as well. I have no non-denim type pants to wear - it has been near 11 years since I was required to wear anything more than denim for work.

Well, nothing else going on. I am headed over to Hoosierboy's to see if he has his Friday Five up. Come and play!

The Cat Got My ...

I was a good friend yesterday. My friend lives a few miles west of me, and the place she had told me to take the cat was basically in-between our homes. I figured no big deal. Pick up the cat around 8am, have it there by 8:30 no problem. Except in my life, nothing goes right at times. I was running late by about 10-15 minutes. Still no major issue. I was to drop Sammy (the cat) off between 8:30 and 9. They just didn't open until 8:30.

I get to her house, see the pet carrier, the free spay voucher, and the other paper listing the places she could go. I see Sammy and call to her, and she comes up rubbing my ankles. Gently I eased her up into my arms, and moved to the carrier. As lowered to my knees and extended Sammy in my arms to the opening of the carrier, disaster struck. Suddenly, she wanted to have nothing to do with me or the carrier. In about 5 seconds flat, she was in the carrier with the door shut, mewing like mad, and I was on my knees thinking what he hell got her flipped out like that. Then I felt it. Sammy in her attempted effort of freeing herself from my hands prior to her entry to the carrier, got in some good claw licks. My left hand across the back of the knuckle of the first digit has a nice scratch about an inch long, bleeding. the palm side of my thumb, from just above the base, across the bend, and right into the meat of the print area, is the worse one. It's dripping red, and hurts like a .... well, you can imagine. The other hand got a couple minor scratches that weren't leaking rivers.

I stick the thumb in my mouth to keep from dripping blood on the carpet, and grab the "Locations" paper. I see an address highlighted, and think to myself that can't be right. I go thru all the other addresses. The one highlighted is where I am supposed to go. Instead of being 39th AVENUE, it was 39th STREET - meaning in Phoenix, about the difference of almost 10 miles, back past my house and to the East side of town. I call my friend, and she had misread the direction of the street and thought it was our side of town. I still had to take the cat, because she had it scheduled there, and the voucher had to be used before 12/1. I grab the stuff and the carrier and start on my way. Mind you, it is 8:30 by now, and still have morning rush hour going on. I got there at 9:10, luckily they didn't mind me being a few minutes over the limit they had gave. I called my friend and let her know the best way to get there after work.

Needless to say, my thumb hurts still this morning. Every time I bend it, put pressure on it, I get a nice little pain to remember Sammy by. Imagine trying to do things without your thumb, then I am happy that I am right handed.

Still fighting the cold, though I think I may have a winning edge happening. The worst of it is the nasal congestion, then runny nose, back to congestion seemingly changing every 30 secs, or a combination of both. My nose is tender from blowing it so much, and wiping the runnies from it. What's weird, is if I lay down for like 15-20 minutes, it clears up a bit - or if I walk around 5-10 minutes. But as soon as I sit - BOOM! It's back to being filed up. Driving me crazy.

We had a freeze warning yesterday in Phoenix until 9am. Seems we got a freak low pressure cell and the temps dropped into the 20's at night. But the good news it will warm back up to the 70's (daytime) by Friday again!

Ugh! Wish It Would Stop!

I woke up feeling miserable this morning. And in the last 45 minutes, it feels like it has gotten worse. My eyes and nose are just leaking like crazy, even though my nose is stuffed up. Yeah, I won't get descriptive, but I can tell it is starting to turn into a sinus infection, too. Just popped some meds to help with "daytime".

That being said, my body is taking over most of my thoughts today, so I don't have much else to share except complaints. I'd head back to bed, except I need to run over to a friend's and pick up her cat. She has to get to work too early, and her cat is scheduled to be spayed today. I only have to drop it off when the vet opens in about an hour or so.

When I get back, I think I may crawl into bed again. Maybe nap a little. No use hooking up the CPAP with this clogged nose though.

Day Three - I Swear It's Like the Energizer Bunny!!

I can't believe this shit... or lack of, in a way, I guess. Last night I started feeling better... hadn't had to rush to the bathroom in a few hours; no cramping in the stomach. Ate some Jack in the Box for dinner. Hit the sack about 9:30'ish and slept good til about 4:30am. That's when it got me. I guess in my sleep I was thinking of passing some gas, and it awoke me when it wasn't gas. In my Herculean effort (picture Eddie Murphy from that movie going "Hercules! Hercules!") to roll to the edge of the bed and arise without leaving mess from my shorts on the bed .... That effort catapulted me directly into the full pull of Earth's gravitational pull, and I damn near broke my nose as I landed, seemingly face-first, on the floor. From there it was a quick Shake of the head to clear the cobwebs, feel the stuff moving down the leg, and quick sprint to the rest room.

Yeah, it ain't gone yet. This little bugger is hanging on tenaciously. Overall I do feel a bit better, so surely I am on the backside of this, and no reason to go to the doctor. Even the lunch meat and egg recalls I hear about, describe the basic symptoms one might experience, and I am past all them. Plus, when I had them, they weren't as bad as they make them sound out to be. But if we could just end this short relationship, I would be happy. Tired of drinking like 2 quarts of water a day to be sure I don't dehydrate....

In other news - well, I don't really have any. The oldest son had his Jr. High open house last night. Because I wasn't feeling up to rushing around the campus, I stayed home with the two younger boys, and the Wife went instead.

I am falling in love with Hulu.com!! If you haven't heard of them, they show some of the recent episodes of TV programs that have been on. Not all of them, as it is only ones they have contracted to do, but man! I don't have to sit and wait for a specific night and time to catch a show! And the commercials they do show, are short and usually only 1 per break - sometimes 2 short ones. The episodes can sit there in my queue until I watch them, or in some occasions, Hulu will remove them from being shown. Usually after 5-6 weeks. So I been watching a couple favorites, and even checking out some other new ones, even if it is season 2, cuz if I like it, then I can go back and watch the first season on dvd usually.

Okay, I am out of here. It's Hump Day, and I need to hump it back to the bathroom again already.

Day Two - It's Still Here

Day Two - 1:30am : Dear Journal, I am still fighting my bout of food poisoning. I am up again pissing out my tender ass. Tender, you ask? It's been wiped like 90 million times over the last 24 hours. It's getting to the point it hurts to sit, or shit for that matter. Sigh.

Yeah, if I had a journal, that's what it would probably read. Today was spent mostly in bed, napping. The waking part spent on the toilet. I thought so much fluid could accumulate in the body, even though I know we are like 75% water. Just not used to seeing so much coming out at once I guess. Was able to get down a small lunch. Dinner was 1 piece of chicken and a small serving of mashed potatoes - and then stomach cramps started again, and I just wanted to throw it all up, though I didn't.

I don't know what else to do but let it run the course, and if not better in another day or two, go to the ER. In the meantime, I am miserable.

It's Come Around Again

Short post today. Only because I fear the amount of time in which I have to come up with non-witty remarks and boring details of my life. I know, you say to yourself that that does not normally stop me. But today it does.

I have a new close friend for the day. It is called a toilet. Seems I ain't some bad lunch meat at the end of the week, and those nasty bacteria finally caught up. The Wife was complaining about my nauseous gas emissions last night (which was nothing new). I was in bed about 10, up again at a little past 1am, cramps in the stomach and the urge to make greetings with my new friend. We have been inseparable since. Well, maybe for a lucky 20-30 min at a time. Now at 10am, I am feeling a bit better - less cramps, but still making that trip just the same. Hoping this clears up by later today. It was only 1-2 pieces of lunch meat for goodness sake!

Daughter starts college classes today. She made Honor Choir through tryouts over the weekend.

I got to do some running, will take me like 45 min to do. Wondering how well I trust my body? Wondering IF I should trust myself, and should I dress just in case?

Decisions ... decisions....

It's like a vacation, except it sucks

Day Two of being sick I thought would be alot better. I woke up feeling better. But it was the calm before the storm. Again I slept literally all day. No I am back to the headache and achiness, feeling sick to the stomach. I just wish it would end.

The daughter, being the type of person she is, decided to push my buttons while I am sick. Not smart. Now WWIII is going on at my house.

If I ever get sick again ....

I spent yesterday with the Wife. No, not like the quality time we should be so lucky to get, but there was a lot of bedtime. We were sick. And Ohhhh, I don't think I had been sick like that in along time! Seems the middle son brought a "bug" home as best we can figure. He was sick Saturday. Then the youngest was sick on Monday. Yesterday was our turn.  We are talking, not holding anything down, in or otherwise. You ache all over, fever, tired, sleep all day. Yeah, can definitely say I caught up on all my sleep.

So this morning, I am less achy. I actually feel like maybe trying to eat something. But still have a bad head ache.

Tonight is the son's last concert. Monday is his graduation from 6th. Tuesday my daughter graduates HS.

Ass Kickin'

Once again it has happened. I have had my ass handed to me yet one more time. This particular opportunity was used by none other than the Common Cold. Yeah, I am still sick. I just can't get rid of the nasal congestion, and of course, it has worked its way down into the chest, so I am coughing up phlegm way too often in my opinion.

No, it is not the flu. I am not, have not, ran/running a fever. As I said, congestion. And I just feel pretty miserable.

So, since my body is just wiped fighting this fiendish villian, I am just sleeping alot. Makes real exciting to read about, ay? Going to watch "Angels & Demons" today. Saw "Star Trek" finally last week - and I really enjoyed it.

That's it for now.

Oh. Hey. My niece (7th grade) had to make a 1-minute public service message. Watch the clip!! You'll see me in there somewhere!!

Turkey Day

Happy Thanksgiving Day to you readers! May your day be filled with good times, memories, and all that good stuff.

I am sitting at home alone today. All by choice. No, I am not boycotting the holiday, I am just sick. Yesterday, a head cold/sinus infection leapt upon me. By last night, I was wanting to crawl up and just not exist. This morning, I feel a very small fraction better, but now I ache (where I wasn't aching before) and still am clogged up, pressure build, etc. I guess the family will be heading to up north without me today... no sense in getting everyone else sick too.

I'll have to beg them to bring me back turkey.... my most favorite meal of the year. And I am sick.

Not a happy camper here today folks.

Ok, back to bed for now. Just took my pill.
