Thirsty Thursday

 Well, with it getting over 100 degrees, it definitely becomes a Thirsty day any day of the week. And we all know my favorite drink to quench that thirst... iced tea! Well, or beer, whichever they have. But if they have both, I go with the iced tea most times.

So Sunday at the Riders meeting, I did finally get my back patch, and a smaller one for the front that states Dist. 3 - Chap 1433 - Arizona. I already had my Accident Scene Management patch. So yesterday I headed up to AZ Biker Leathers. I found a nice denim/leather vest, picked out an American Flag patch, and had all sewed onto the vest. I had to order a couple customized patches (name badge - I'm going with Ralphie Boy - and my officer badge - Secretary) which should be done today. SO later this morning I will run back up there and get those sewed on. Takes less than 5 minutes. They have a nice outfit at that place.

Yesterday I also ordered my trauma kit to carry on the bike runs. With shipping and handling, it was a bit more than I expected, but overall, everything that is in it will be nice to have, even if I hope I never need it.

Got the Agenda for next week's House meeting completed, and approved yesterday. Will be sending that out shortly. Then I am off the hook for a week until I need to do the Agenda for the Riders.
