Busy Thirsty Thursday!

I didn't sleep so well last night. I was in bed by 9pm, and the Wife crawled in the bed around midnight or so. It woke me up, and I kind of napped for a short bit, but by 1:30a I was wide awake, so I got up. I finished watching a movie I had started earlier that evening. By 3:30a, I was feeling tired, so returned to bed, only to toss/turn until after at least 4:30a, where I only had some naps until I got up at 8am.

Today I have errands to take care of. I have some scripts at the drug mart to pick up. I need to wash my car, and vacuum the inside, plus remove stray trash. I'll need to grab some lunch at some point. Then meeting a buddy at my regular watering hole for a few drinks this afternoon. The Wife is home today, but is spending it doing some continuing education classes for her license.

Tuesday was my last meeting of the month. I even printed out about 5 extra copies of the Agenda for the meeting that night. Three were left there. Why do I bother? The meeting went about as well as could be expected, with one particular member being a pain and interrupting everything with his "ideas and suggestions" that always went back to a topic we had finished discussing. Frustrating, to say the least.

This weekend the Wife and I are traveling to gorgeous Tempe, AZ! We have a one-night stay at a hotel there, where the Auxiliary are doing a 2-day training session. We will head that way Saturday morning (it's only about 30-45 minute drive). I think Sunday afternoon, once it is over, we will swing out to the Dollar Tree store I was assigned to pick up donations from, and grab what all they have. Then tell them the drive is over, as it pretty much is. There might be a bag of donated school items from the last time I was there. I just want to end it so I don't have to go all the way out there to collect it all.

Welp, I need to check my glucose and BP.
